Takara means 'treasure' in Japanese. The name represents the core of the brand: the abaya is a woman's treasure. It is a part of her identity that holds her story—a story of a modern woman who values artistic yet elegant expressions of individuality.

Takara was established in 2020 in Dubai by three sisters-Athari, Mariam, and Jawaher Al Hajri. We create collections with heart to inspire women to embody their beauty and extraordinary essence.
